Large bathroom located on ground floor, bedrooms upstairs. A chill host, who did not get angry at me for locking myself out, very kind. Felt very welcome there, no fuss, easy-peasy. I would gladly rent that property again.”

“My family stayed three nights at this lovely home. Our stay was nightly only. The home is very clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the lazy boy couch to watch TV. The beds are very comfortable. This home would be the perfect large family gathering place. The pool and yard are beautiful. ”

“We came to Long Island for a military retirement ceremony, this was our first time here and this cottage was perfectly located. Close to Islip airport, short drive to Port Jefferson for the ceremony, and close enough for a day trip up to the Hamptons and Montauk. The cottage itself was wonderful. Perfect amount of old and new. The landscaping and property made it feel very private.”

“Check in couldn’t be easier! As soon as you walk in this home you will instantly feel at home! The quaint decor and attention to details are special and welcoming. The kitchen has a cute little stocked coffee bar and hand labeled canisters with tea and hot chocolate! Bed is super comfy and there are window units for hot nights. Bathroom has the essentials including hair products and shower gel. The large backyard is quiet and I enjoyed sitting out and listening to the birds in this quiet……

“Surrounding area so quiet and walkable neighborhood. A great bagel place a mile away!! Host was always responsive. No issues at all with the property, all kitchen, bath and bedding needs. Good internet that I could work with TV in bedroom and living room. Great stay!”
