“The hotel was located in a great area. The restaurant, Blackhawk, in the hotel was great with great food for a decent price. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, had a smell from the lobby to the room and also in the room. Again, I chalk that up to being outdated. The staff were nice when we did need to speak to them. “Great location, room was excellent, bed was comfy, felt very safe, gym is fantastic for a hotel and there’s a fireplace!!! Only two quibbles. First, the room was very quiet. The AC is on a motion sensor, so if you don’t move periodically, it turns off. As someone who needs a fair amount of white noise to sleep, I usually run the HVAC fan all night. However, because of the sensor, the fan would turn off and it would get very quiet in the room. This was pretty hard on me and I startled awake a……
