“Such a wonderful property that words can’t describe. Breakfast was superb, the sauna was rejuvenating, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. 5 minute walk to bus stop that connected us to everything we wanted (bus #25 to Salzburg city center, #840 to Lake Königssee). “This overgrown chalet is known in the area for its excellent food and wine selection, especially in the Maximilian Restaurant. Deer's bistro shares the same kitchen, but is simpler and less expensive. The hotel is right off the autobahn, and on a main highway, so it is not the quietest. “The service was excellent! From front desk, bell hops, room service attendants and even the person who oversees the breakfast hours are all incredibly superb. The room was clean and well thought out. The only thing I can think of is you may need to request a roll away if you have a party of three and staying in the junior suite.
