“In een prachtige, idyllische omgeving hebben wij midden in het centrum van Arganil mogen vertoeven. Het is een prima startpunt om vele mooie plaatsen te bezichtigen. De binnenstad kent vele leuke restaurants; de omgeving is voorzien van vele bergen, een rivier met zeer schoon water en diverse strandjes. Fraga da Pena is zeker een bezoekje waard. Al met al zijn de toeristische plaatsen nog altijd rustig; ze worden niet overspoeld met hordes vakantiegangers of luide muziek. Het is hier echt……

“Lovely rural 2 story cottage...Hazel had to "fetch" us because the beautiful place is hard to find. Do not attempt to arrive after dark. We used as a base to explore northern Portugal. A lime tree grows outside your kitchen window! We didn't use the pool but sat there for the fantastic sunsets. Beautiful experience.”

“Absolutely fantastic villa for peace and quite and set in its own mini valley.Just one property nearby and that is the wonderful owners who are so helpful and nice but respect your privacy too.The villa has a lovely outdoor area to eat and drink overlooking the woods and large gardens that are kept so nicely.The pool is very clean and well maintained.We found everything we needed in the villa with some nice extras provided by the host.The nearest supermarket is just 5 mins away by car or 20……

“This is a beautiful house with heated floors, a heated pool and a hot tub (and all 3 worked which isn't always the case with a rental). Our 9 year old loved the pool and slide, we all loved barbecuing on the outside fire (you need to go into town to get the briquets) and we loved the spacious well-appointed house. It's on a quiet country road on a tough to navigate turn, but once there it is a little slice of nice. It was central for us as we visited Sortelha, Fatima, the Schist Villages and a……

“Maison très agréable et à proximité de tout commerces. Nous avons pu visiter les alentours mais avec difficultés de circuler car il y avait des travaux. C'est bien d'avoir mis des Ventilateurs car il faisait très chaud dans les chambres.Par contre le frigo était trop petit pour 4 adultes.”
