“Great house, great location, great host”

“We checked in Friday night around 6pm and the driveway and property was very dark with no lights on. Once we entered the house we attempted to turn the outside light on but it didn’t work. The bedrooms downstairs were freezing. We couldn’t locate a thermostat anywhere downstairs.We assumed that meant the heat downstairs was controlled by the upstairs thermostat but it didn’t specify separate zones so we were confused. I went through the welcome book to make sure there wasn’t something we were……

“We were in town to help family that was sick, this location was perfect as the family lives across the street! The host was quick to respond and very friendly. We will be back again! ”

“Great location. We enjoyed our overdue gateway, very peaceful, though it’s very close to the bridge, the traffic noise didn’t bother us at all - was drowned out by the water rushing. The mattress in master bedroom is too soft for us to sleep in (found blankets or something tucked in between mattress and box spring). We wished that they disclosed about the cameras installed outside”

“House was clean, well appointed and we loved that the fur babies could come! The property was overgrown, but we were there before the real “season” hits. Our immediate concerns were dealt with right away. My only real complaint is if you have a boat trailer and/or more than one vehicle, parking on the steep hill is unpleasant and you’re constantly moving vehicles. But that could just be us. We parked our boat trailer at a friend’s house in town. I loved the a/c and docks. And the view is……

“The house was decorated so nicely and everyone had cozy beds. We were 30 min from Gore mountain. The teens all stayed in the basement and loved the huge screen to watch movies and play games. The adults had the main floor. We played cards, made dinner, and made a fire. It was perfect. The host responded very quickly to our one question about snow removal and all was great. I would come back again. ”

“Amazing place for families! We had two families and there was plenty of space. So many toys my kids couldn’t believe it. Hot tub with lake views was amazing. Clean and very communicative and helpful host. Would love to try in summer sometime. Frozen lake was beautiful. ”
