“Cute cozy cottage close to Gore mountain ”

“We checked in Friday night around 6pm and the driveway and property was very dark with no lights on. Once we entered the house we attempted to turn the outside light on but it didn’t work. The bedrooms downstairs were freezing. We couldn’t locate a thermostat anywhere downstairs.We assumed that meant the heat downstairs was controlled by the upstairs thermostat but it didn’t specify separate zones so we were confused. I went through the welcome book to make sure there wasn’t something we were……

“I had a great stay at the Moose Lodge. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and neat and close to town. ”

“Overall, stay was very good. One small thing that wasn’t clear was the mooring for the boat. It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. Fortunately, it did not become necessary because the folks that stayed on the property right on the water did not have a boat The only other thing I think is worth mentioning for people who have Boats is that your water inlet is directly in front of the dock and may be an obstruction……

“I've been spending our annual "family" week throughout the Adirondack Park every year for the past decade. This particularly stay was enhanced by a well organized and efficiently designed cabin with extremely comfortable accommodations.The modern bathrooms (3 full and a 4th half bathroom) were a plus for our family of 8. The exterior recreation area was no exception, with kayaks, canoe, dock, fire pit, picnic table and seating all in a close-knit outdoor area with multiple levels. Beautiful……

“Arrived around 5 on Saturday. Great location. Once I figured out how to open key holder, we moved in. We enjoyed our cabin, found the information folders helpful. We had a nice fire and enjoyed our stay. Our suggestions for improvement. The light in the main room was very bright. A dimmer light switch would have been appreciated. Would like to have had a reading light on both sides of the bed.”
