“We truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and provided everything you could need and more. Loved the huge front porch. There weren’t too many rules, regulations or cameras so we could truly relax and enjoy this home and explore the beauty of Humboldt County. It felt like the owners truly cared about their renters enjoying their amazing home. We made lasting memories with our daughter and teenage grandkids. Thanks for sharing and making it possible……

“The place accomidated all 8 of us. They have comfortable beds. It was close to town. Just so you know, there is a school across the street, but it didn’t seem to be an issue. The neighbors were friendly! The host was very attentive and answered quickly. ”

“My wife and I had stayed here several years ago and had our dogs. This time it was just me, and it was wonderful, just as I remembered it. The location is great and the cottage is clean and comfortable, with all the necessities. The neighborhood is clean and quiet and the open space by the shore is fun to explore. Add in the fact that Gill’s diner is a 3 minute walk, and perfecto! We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.”

“We chose the boathouse to have our small dog with us. But it was a bonus for us too. It is darling decorated in the nautical theme. Our host thought of so many things to make it homey. I wasn’t sure what to expect, like napkins, paper towels and tissues, so didn’t have to go to the market right away. We would rebook if we are going to the north coast. Sorry didn’t take pictures!”

“This was an anniversary getaway to the coastal/redwood area. We are somewhat familiar with the area, so welcomed a more remote stay location. This was the one!We were happily welcomed by the property owners and their cute dachshunds, who led the way from their main house to the cottage. We were given the tour with gracious hospitality. Long story shortened, pics do not do this property justice. The cottage was lovely, painstakingly constructed, as well as adorned. If a couple can't get comfy……
