“There are so many wonderful things to say about this beautifully maintained property. The positives were 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerators (one by the pool), ice machine, lots of seating on outside porches, large pier w/motorized lift platform to get in and out of the water, luckily a backup generator (we had a bad storm while we were there), pool is shallow and great for water walking, beautiful views from the inside and outside, great crab traps, very safe fire pit, most well equipped……

“We were booked to go to OBX, but the snowstorm changed that...so plan B! Plan B was a fantastic choice...great place to chill out, drink wine, dance and relax by the bonfire! Hosts were very quick to respond to emails, the beds were comfy and the kitchen stocked! I'd love to come back (I live in Oregon) and bring my grandsons here this Summer! ”

“We stayed for a motorcross race (son was racing). We didnt do much at the house. Its nestled back in a quiet point on the water. Easy commute to and from to the grocery/simple shopping stores. Starbucks right down the street for you coffee lovers. The interior decor is simple and antique.”

Water views---spectacular!! Spent the entire weekend with family and a few friends in the pool, hot tub, playing outdoor chess by the pool, kayaking, biking, fishing....just sitting and watching to gorgeous wildlife (Eagles/Ospray/Blue Herons/Egrets....bluebirds/kingfishers/cardinals! Also the house itself so very……

“The host was very accommodating and responsive. The house was above anything you would expect. Beautiful pictures do not do it justice. My family and I had space and didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The beach area was so peaceful and just what the soul needed. Just an amazing place.”

“We knew that April would be an iffy monlh to rent, but the weather did cooperate. The water was too cold and it was extremely windy but we did get to sit on the beach one day, fly kites and play in the sand on other days. Beautiful view, beautiful home. Lots of toys/books for our 4 grandchildren to play with. The bedrooms were very spacious and the kitchen provided lots of room for all of us.”

“We came to the area to participate a disc golf tournament at Lake Marshall. The location was perfect. We had a great time cooking over the fire, making s'mores, and checking out Montross and Colonial Beach. I highly recommend staying at this property. ”
