“Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning……
“We had a great experience at the hotel. The pool and the lifeguards were amazing, having early free breakfast was extremely helpful with a child, and generally, the hotel fuel was very good and local.”
“The property just got a complete facelift room and lobby area are great. They're still working on the pool. Only criticism is there's no coffee maker in the room, but you do have a microwave and refrigerator.”
“Very helpful desk staff. Breakfast. You can walk to the Ann Marie Sculpture Gardens. The main area of Solomons shopping / dining is an easy 5 minute drive.”

I got the sense that some patrons that were staying at the location at the time of my stay were sketchy, but I would not dock the property for that as they have a number of procedures and policies in place to maintain safety and service above everything.”
