“Everyone was most accommodating and went out of their way to assist. The nicest touch was the to go breakfast bag placed outside each guests’s door. Would gladly stay there again. It didn’t hurt that Oban is an absolutely beautiful seaside town!”

“Service is good, breakfast is excellent. Wifi is slow and disconnect every 5 mins. Due the night time between 1700-2130. It is because, they share with the pub and restaurant guest wifi. When you showers the water sometimes hot and cold. The room is nice.Easy to park.”

“The staff upon checking in,staff at the bar and restaurant were absolutely wonderful. It was a relaxing stay after a long day of travel and right off the ferry. I would definitely recommend staying here. My husband has never been this relaxed. ”

“Chambre assez minimaliste : en rapport avec le prix pour le secteur, mais il ne faut pas s’attendre à un palace. On y dort et on repart vite. Accueil sympa, mais aucun service spécifique à la l’hôtellerie. Parking dans la rue possible la nuit, mais il faut déplacer la voiture tôt le matin ou payer une heure pour rester un peu plus. La partie bar / restau fait le taf : bière pas mauvaise, pizzas bonnes. Mais on a préféré finir la soirée au Mac Gregor’s avec une ambiance terrible, très haute en……

“This was my parents favorite stay in Scotland! The town is so cute but the old mill really makes it. The front area is so cute with the restaurant and tent along the river. The rooms were amazing and the beds were so comfortable! I need to message them where their shower heads are from bc omg it was amazing lol! Parking was super easy and having the restaurant right there was so convenient. The location is 10/10 and staff is very welcoming ”

“The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great.”

“Good value Inn in Mallaig. The room was small but functional and comfortable. Matress and shower very good. The quality, value and service in the Inn itself was excellent, as was the included breakfast. Would definitely stay again.”

“What a great find for our short stay in Pitlochry. The hotel is in the perfect location on the riverside, but within easy walking distance of the town centre. It is a small property, a plus in our book, with very well appointed rooms and public spaces. The restaurant is excellent and I would strongly recommend eating there at least once on your visit. Complimentary breakfast was also served in this area and was varied and imaginative, a good start to any day! However the icing on the cake has to……

“Once over the threshold, it is both welcoming & engaging. There is a real “ personal “ touch & the owners are so “ hands on”& this care filters down through all their Staff. Alas, the weather was not in our favour, but the sun always shines inside the “ Inn on the Tay”! will definitely revisit & highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely experience! Mark & Kirsten.”
