“This house was great for my husband and myself. The location was excellent. The house was very clean and had many updated items. I really appreciated the gas stove and a frying pan that you could actually use for cooking. I would highly recommend this house to people staying in the Salem area although it is only an hour from Portland. So it might be an option for that as well. We found the original pancake house. “What a lovely relaxing little place to spend a week. We were in town so one of our kids & a friend could attend a basketball camp. This cottage had everything we needed (minus wash cloths but we got a couple at wal mart). Our youngest child claimed the loft area as her own & enjoyed sleeping up there. The other beds were very comfy. The shower was the best. The neighborhood is a mix of old & new homes and enormous beautiful oak trees. Salem has a large unhoused population and some little camps……
