“I recently stayed at Sam’s Lake House, AMAZING with breathtaking views of the lake. The large windows allowed me to fully enjoy the serene winter scenery, as snow fell. Sam was incredibly responsive and went out of her way to ensure my stay went smoothly, even arranging the cleaning crew to expedite their work.Thoughtful touches throughout the house, like the wide variety of games available—even 420 games, though it's important to note that smoking isn't allowed on the property. “We had such a great time and a wonderful stay at the Lake House in Marshall, Michigan. The home has stunning unobstructed views of a lake and you really can't see any other homes. The deck was nice to hang out on and we used the firepit one night and enjoyed the stars and a beautiful moon. The house is well equipped in the two kitchens. The open concept is perfect for our small family gathering with loads of counter space. The beds were all comfy and sheets and towels were nice. We loved the……

“Great place with plenty of room to host dinners for the family we were visiting. The down stairs area was great to keep all the kids entertained. Only suggestion we would make is to install a hand rail on the stairs inside the house. It would help some of the elderly family members we had visiting. Other than that it was a great place with plenty of room. The open concept of the kitchen, dinning room, and living room was great for entertaining. The 3rd bathroom off the kitchen was also nice……

“We needed to make a last minute trip to MI from SC to visit family. We were so lucky that this little gem was available. It is small and cozy but had everything we needed. The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat.”

“The property is beautiful. There is an expansive yard right on the water with a small beach. It is cozy place with two bedrooms on separate floors. Each bedroom has a bath (one full; one powder room). The kitchen is well-appointed. The furnishings are modern and new. ”
