“Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again”

“We had a good time in the house. It is very spacious, confortable overall and the grounds are lovely. It was very suited to our group with people of all ages and the location is great to visit the Lakes.Only downfall : the house needs TLC especially in some of the bathrooms.We also encountered problems including wifi and hot water system. But the property manager was reactive and did her best to solve them when possible.”

“Was an incredible stay, the views fromThe shepherds hut was remarkable and the hut was lovely and spacious. Super clean and such an amazing weekend stay ! The sunset view from the hut was beautiful. “We had a very enjoyable 4 nights at Lind End Cottage. We were warmly greeted by Janet, who was very friendly. The cottage was clean and very well laid out with a wonderful view from the dining room.The bed was comfortable and a good shower plenty of hot water and at a decent pressure.On leaving Janet called in to see if were happy with everything and to chat about our bike rides and walking trips. Thank you again Janet for a lovely stay.”
