“We had a wonderful stay visiting family that was staying in the area. The location was secluded and we felt relaxed. Not having WiFi was actually not bad as we watched a movie on the DVD and spent time talking and playing games. Was a bonus to have our dogs with us for the Holiday. They enjoyed the walks. ”

“This house accommodates our family well with its many bedrooms and bathrooms, and large living room. We enjoyed visiting on the porch, around the fire outside, and on the swing-set. ”

“We had a very relaxing time. Caught many fish and hung out at the fire pit. Spent some time in the hot tub. The tree house was Clean and neat. Would not recommend it for anyone who has trouble with steps. You have to come down a ladder/steps backwards from the loft. We’re over 65 and a bathroom trip at 4 am was trouble and comical at the same time. Love the property and the host Bruce was great. Steps or not we would stay there again.”

“We were pleasantly surprised with this mix of original and modern updated cabin! It is well maintained, fully stocked with extra added touches and nicely decorated rooms. It has that “home way from home” feel and very cozy. Nestled between my sons wedding location and reception it was the perfect location. Our hosts were awesome too, very prompt in getting back to me or answering emails! We definitely recommend The Fox Den! ”

“We're a four piece band that was looking for an inspirational place to write and record some new music. The cabin was perfect! We stayed four days and had a wonderful time playing instruments and eating good food together - memories we'll no doubt cherish for life. The hosts were on point with communications and the cabin has everything you could need (cookware, dishes, shower supplies, reliable internet, bedding, etc ). Highlights include beautiful scenery and a friendly deer that makes a daily……

“This was the perfect romantic birthday weekend cabin! We originally planned to camp at Cowans Gap State Park but changed our minds when we found out there was a fire ban state wide. We were depending on a fire for cooking and heat, so without that our tent camping didn’t seem ideal. Last minute we searched Vrbo and found the perfect cozy cabin located just outside the park. It was the perfect home base as we needed a restful place to stay after long day hikes in the surrounding area. The kitchen……

“This property was truly gorgeous! House sits on 10 private acres with river access! Priceless! Views were beautiful, river was lovely and shallow, slow flow in front of home. Watched the birds float down river while enjoying my morning tea. My boys (young adults now) loved the pool table and kayaks provided. Thanks again from OC!!”
