“I had the whole property to myself as I stayed on a weekday night! It was kinda scary as I was the only guest and it’s a big room and property. It’s very clean and comfortable. However, the lights went off shortly after I went into the shower room. As I’m not tall, the sensor can’t detect my moving arms so I ended up showering in the dark. I would recommend staying here when it’s slightly busy. ”

“The Sao Jose hotel is very close to the Fatima Sanctuary and has restaurants and souvenir & coffee shops next door. The hotel itself has a restaurant and souvenirs as well, but the hours open may differ. Our rooms were very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Our check in went smoothly. “ This is truly a beautiful boutique hotel. I really liked how it was decorated. I also like the fact that inside the hotel, there was a small area where you can purchase locally made goods and that they had an honesty bar where you could buy items for consumption. The hotel itself isn’t a very good location, walking distance to the monastery, restaurants, and shops.
