“It was the perfect location to rest after a long day in the national parks. It was not anything fancy, but it was very clean. The sheet and linens could be improved. The beds did not have top sheets and the towels were very small and rough texture. We did not use the kitchen at all. ”

“This cabin is a great little getaway. It is minutes away from the park. There is not a kitchen so be prepared to eat out. ”

“We struggled with the lock box, but everything after that was amazing! The hosts were very responsive when we were struggling with the lock box. The cabin is so cozy and has so much character. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to enjoy Sequoia National Park and star gaze!”

“My family had a great time at Knotty Cabin. We were lucky to have fresh snow in time for our arrival and waking up to snow-covered trees right outside the window by our bed was heaven. The cabin is beautiful and clean, it looks just as pictured in the photos. The location is very convenient to the Kings Canyon Visitor Center and General Grant Tree. Heather is a quick and friendly communicator. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor bunk beds on the balcony. ”

“Stayed during the winter season. Was easy to find and get in using the provided instructions. The cabin has all the modern amenities pictured and promised, but also maintains a very cozy and down-to-earth feel. Found everything we needed in the kitchen, and enjoyed the ambiance of having a fire in the wood stove although it isn’t necessary for keeping the place warm. Enjoyed our time and definitely would stay again.”

“Just what we needed! Silent, cozy, rustic hideaway, just 20 min's from Kings Canyon/Sequoia. Took gorgeous hikes each day, warmed up by the fire at night. “Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us, we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on the 1st. Your cabin brought us so much peace and serenity that was definitely needed. Mother nature definitely put on a great show for us, we absolutely enjoyed watching the hummingbirds dance around us on the deck, all the birds playing in the river but our absolute favorite piece of your property is listening to the beautiful river and watching the shooting stars that made this trip so magical. ……

“Seeing the house driving to the entrance was a wow moment. Getting up to the driveway everyone was so excited to check out the view and when we got to the balcony it was incredible. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The theater room was so perfect if you have sleeping kids, everyone met down there at the end of the night for games and movies. We actually forgot some stuff behind when we left and owners went above and sent it to us right away. Can’t think of any better……

“I can honestly say I've never stayed in a cabin without a restroom or electricity and I heated it with the wood they provided which was very funlight were propane lights, lit with a match. However the drive up and down the Mt. Was at the least, not for the faint of heart...very rough on my car.”

“The place was exactly as described and close to sequoia NP. It was super clean and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day hiking. We would definitely return and highly recommend! ”
