“We had a terrific stay! The property was very clean and well-stocked and close to the Foothills Visitor Center at the NP. Plenty of parking in the driveway. The deck out front was a beautiful spot for coffee in the morning and we grilled and had dinner on the patio out back later in the evening after spending the day in the parks. Mark provided helpful information and recommendations for our stay. His communication was always quick and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend……

“Let me start with staying we travel a lot and we are not overally critical of places but we do judge them based on price, location etc. As business owners we realize what a good or bad review can do to a listing so I am practical when leaving a review. Three weeks or so before we even took off for this vacation I recieved a text from the owner. She sent a ton of info on the local area, the parks, things to do, grocery stores, activities etc. etc. With the links and what nots to do re search.……

“The Blue Jay was the perfect landing pad for our family's June trip to Sequoia. The place was very clean, super well-equipped, comfortably furnished, and so peaceful! We loved watching the quail and squirrel families in the backyard. The house is nice and close to the Park entrance and the cute town of Three Rivers (we loved Tony's Taverna on Wheels!). To top all that off, Mark is the best host we've ever had at a vacation rental. Extremely communicative, responsive, helpful, and kind. Overall,……

“The property was beautiful and nicely kept. It is a bit inside so hard to find specially if it is late in the day. The natural surroundings and starry night make up for it though. The beddings can be updated and the kitchen can be better stocked for the first day of stay. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience.”
