Definitely read the instructions sent from Hotels.com to prepare yourself for the arrival as there is no standard 24 hour manned check in desk so you have to call the property before your arrival to let them know of your arrival.”

“Borgo San Pietro is in the charming Tuscan hilltop town of Agnone. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk everywhere. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology……
