“The staff warmly welcomed us upon arrival, it was a nice first expression of Braga, a really lovely place. When checking in, the staff would provide the breakfast menu for the next morning for reservation and we loved everything we ordering, the bread, the yogurt, meat and cheese selection, we even ordered more and the staff would check the availability and offer the food you like to have more. “This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in.”

“Overnight stay during longer trip, overall good. Location is very central, interesting building that used to be a monastery and a hospital. Good breakfast, the only thing is that they do not have a coffee machine. Parking is challenging, when you come to the front you find that you need drive around the city to get to the parking in the back. During the checkin no details provided unless you ask. No kettle/tea/coffee in room. Considering the location, more attentive service could make this……

“Great location. If you want to walk, this is the place to do it. Beautiful and historic. Very clean but bed very uncomfortable. We also had little or no service during our 8 night stay. We had to find clean sheets and towels midway through our stay and change our on linens. If you don’t mind doing this, you’ll be okay. If you want service during your stay this place won’t make you happy. But again, locates phenomenal!”
