“The cabin was clean and had a gorgeous view of the river! The scent of the cabin was strong for my taste (woody? Candles? Not sure). There is not much to do in nearby areas but my goal was to stay near new river gorge park not to be in a place with lots to do, so this was perfect! Only downside is proximity to the train tracks. Train is very loud as it passes, but I would stay there again! I ran into the host’s son walking his dog as I was leaving because he lives nearby and he was so kind and……

“Good location near town. Spacious but stairs a bit steep to 2nd floor so be careful especially if you need to come down in middle of night. We had a WiFi outage that was resolved the next day with a small refund.. so hosts were responsive and considerate. I recommend this place.”

“My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during spring break. Everything was clean and in great condition, and the host clearly went the extra mile to provide finishing touches. The towels were extra large and plush, the coffee area had multiple options, there were extra condiments in the fridge, and each bedroom has its own tv (the kids were thrilled about this!). When we asked about using the fire pit, the host even offered to go pick up firewood for us! The area is beautiful, quiet and……

“My family and I had a great stay. It was a very convenient location to the Pinnacle trail head. There was a gas station down the road and a few restaurants/bars within walking distance. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable, overall we had a great stay. Kevin was very responsive and answered all my questions within 24hrs. 🙂 Just some FYIs that are left out of the listing, but not deal breakers for some: -there is no access to the downstairs from the top floor, you have to go outside……
