“Pretty good value for money place with large clean rooms, well maintained property. Breakfast options could be better. Otherwise enjoyed my stay.”

“The property is new, and the facilities are well maintained. The property is a bit inside of the main road, so spotting it might be a hassle. The rooms are actually very small in size, and that is an issue(for some, maybe). Also the hotel doesn't allow food from outside(to promote their costly in-room dining facilities), which is a hassle. Overall, the stay is awesome if we don't take into account the small rooms and no outside food policy. Have stayed for only one day, so can't really comment……

While booking this place (Dover Inn next to the Gariahat Police Station), I was hesitant because of some scary reviews among other good ones. “Since I had to visit the Victoria Memorial Hall, I wanted a hotel close to this museum and I wanted a budget hotel. I found Malik Guest House the best choice. It is looks more like an apartment block rather than a hotel. The Harish Mukherjee road is busy all day and night, traffic, people and shops...I was staying on the fifth floor and once you go up to your room, it is quiet and serene out there. The hotel staff are helpful and the service is quick. I was happy to spend a couple of days there.……

“The property was situated in the city's heart. I didn't feel protected, and it wasn't as enticing as I had thought from the photographs. For a female traveller, it fell short of my expectations. However, it's a decent, reasonably priced hotel. ”

“Booked and paid through Expedia but hotel did not accept reservations. When trying to inquire l, no response from hotel staff. Numbers on website don’t seem to work. Expedia blaming hotel and vice versa. Not sure who is responsible for this but don’t recommend booking this hotel on Expedia. It’s a fraud! ”
