“The Shandon House is incredible and a great place to stay. We truly enjoyed the home, pool, jacuzzi, and the kitchen is amazing! It is quiet and peaceful and all the bedrooms were great. The property manager was helpful upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!”

“Had a great stay with family with young kids and a dog. Lofts are on the second floor with no elevator. They are above shops and restaurants with outdoor eating areas around. Out particular loft was at the front of the building so all of the light from the businesses made one of bedrooms rather bright at night. Black out shades would be great. Would stay again! ”

Wineries, down-town, Tin city or grocery store (not too isolated.)Accommodations were good- however the place could use a little re-fresh (attention) when compared to other properties at the same price point.Peaceful. Comfortable. Plenty of towels and blankets etc.The farm animals were a real highlight of the stay and we were permitted to visit them.”

“This house is exactly as advertised— a beautifully renovated home right next to downtown Pasó Robles. It is the perfect spot for a home base for a trip here. We walked to restaurants, shopping and wine tasting. The owner’s guidebook was simple and full of great suggestions. Highly recommend this home! Would definitely stay again. ”

“I celebrated my 50th birthday with 16 friends in Paso Robles. Jack is a wonderful host, very responsive and accomodating. This home was perfect for our large group. Everyone commented about how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals together. We were able to gather together in the living room for group activities and fit all 17 people around the large table for dinner. Ample parking. We had a lovely night by the large fire pit. And loved seeing deer come……

“This home was immaculate and exactly as advertised, with every amenity one could think of or want. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bedrooms were clean with comfortable beds and soft sheets, and the bathrooms were beautifully upgraded. The shower heads had strong water pressure, which felt like such a luxury! The location was close to downtown (walking distance) and parking was not a problem. This is an excellent place to stay in the Paso Robles area!”

“This property is so perfectly aesthetic it’s like living in a decor magazine but still functional- things actually work and are comfortable as well as looking nice. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so it’s a calm place to relax but a short walk to the downtown area for dining, wine tasting, etc. Pauline was also very responsive, we asked for a replacement propane tank for the grill and she brought it the same day!For pet owners- the yard is not fenced in so a long leash was helpful to let the dog……
