“My husband and I stayed at this great school house when we came to meet our new grandson. The location is so close to everything we needed. The owners mentioned an ice cream shop we should visit (Nutters) in Sharpsburg MD and it is as good and inexpensive as they said a must go to if you like ice cream. Would highly recommend this school house to anyone who is looking for somewhere unique to stay.”

“We were a multi-generation family celebrating birthdays and a 60th wedding anniversary over the long Easter weekend. The house was beautiful and the location was very peaceful. Although the house is modern in style, it is also very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the various family groups to spread out. “I can't say enough positive things about our trip! The owner was amazing! He responded to all communications very quickly. During our stay, we lost power, and he was responding to our messages on a Saturday night almost instantly. The house went above and beyond our expectations! The amenities were perfect for all ages. Our teenagers loved the game room in the basement. The pond was a nice walk away and we caught (and released) a lot of fish. We loved watching the birds at the 2 bird……

“The property is beautiful. The house sits right on the Potomac river. I just wish I had had been warmer so that we could’ve gotten in the water. There were eight of us that traveled together. It’s basically two houses connected together with some amazing decks and views. We spent a lot of time on the deck hanging out doing puzzles and laughing. It was in a great location to visit other places. We went to Shepherdstown and that is a great little town to visit. We hit up Harper’s ferry and……
