“Hidden Valley has been our spring trip each year. This is the second year at this location. It is by far the best choice. First, Mark is a great host. He communicates all information needed in a timely manner and follows up with answers to any questions. The location of his place provided the perfect "home base" for our group. A group hiked the trails in Linn Run, L.Hill, and other trails. Others fished the local trout streams. We used it as launch point for Ligonier, F.L.Wright related sites.……

“We loved our long weekend at Mountain Memories! The snow fell, and the skiing at Hidden Valley just steps from the door was perfect for our multi-family group! We parked our cars for the weekend and could access anything we needed on Skis! The house was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed - towels, sheets, kitchen supplies. The ski room was a great space to keep all our gear with plenty of benches, hooks and dryers for our gear. The two living spaces were a bonus so the older kids……

“The house was great although we ended up as a much smaller group than anticipated. We intially planned the trip as a halfway point between the Stonycreek festival in Johnstown and the Lower Yough at the Ohiopyle State Park. Most of our club (ADK Whitewater Paddlers) group decided not to make the trip after the heavy rains of last week raised the difficulty level of the local rivers. The few of us that stayed found the house to be clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and to have a homey feel. ”

“We had an amazing stay at this VRBO rental! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the lifts and everything we needed for a relaxing ski getaway. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with thoughtful touches like extra blankets, firewood, and kitchen essentials. After a long day on the slopes, the hot tub was a lifesaver! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions, making check-in and out a breeze. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this spot for anyone……

“If you are looking for a cozy getaway and are not going to ski much, this is the perfect home. The loss of a star (4/5) rating is solely based on the walking distance from the parking lot to the property which was a challenge for older family members. That aside, the beds were super comfortable and all the standard supplies were plentiful. It was great to have so many full bathrooms (3)…and the Mountain View was amazing! ”
