“The cottage was great, nicely furnished, with comfortable beds, and conveniently located for hiking. An antique mall and a great garden center were 15 - 20 min. drives. The reason that I gave it less than 5 stars was that the coffee maker stopped working after day 2 of our 4 day stay. We left 2 messages for the property manager and got no reply. The kitchen could also use some better cookware. ”

“My family and i stayed here for 2 nights on the way to a family funeral. Resterants are fairly close. Small town but close to Akron. Lakes are vety close. We fond a good fishing spot less than 5 minutes away. Host was eager to help anyway she could. Russ”

“When I booked with Thomas, I was looking for a place between Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the football hall of fame. This worked. It's very clean and comfortable. Please be advised that the listing says there's a grill, but there wasn't when we were there, which would have been useful when we had no power (BAD storm, not a property issue). The lack of advertised grill is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Also, remember to bring ziploc bags, foil etc. And the largest size bowl available……

“The access to the home went without a hitch, just as described. The home was clean, kitchen well-stocked, the dining area airy and bright, and the beds comfortable (although somewhat high to get in and out of - for us). The bathroom is small but clean and very serviceable. The heating/cooling system is good - accommodating the highly fluctuating high and low temperatures of our 4 day stay. The lake is an easy walk (not like the one photo suggests it is a walk out the door), with a nice……
