“Uncomfortable bed which was bolted together incorrectly, so kept scratching my legs on the screws. There was a bedside lamp but the flex wasn't long enough to reach the plug socket. Ther were 2 of us staying but inly 1 mug supplied. Very noise due to the close proximity of the traffic and people slamming doors. Shower heads were dirty and the water pressure was very poor. Fridge door didn't close properly”

“Lovely apartment in great location next to city centre. The owner had an issue with previous guests who trashed the apartment, however when we arrived the apartment was clean and in great condition. Only issue was a slight dampness to couch due to him having to clean because of previous users. This would not put me off using this apartment again, thank you for the use of your apartment”

“We have stayed here several times in the past, and, whenever we are planning on visiting the family in Saffron Walden, we always look for to see if this property is available. Highly recommended, except for people with mobility issues, for whom the tight, winding staircase to the upstairs bedrooms would be an issue. Apart from that, highly recommended.”

“A bizarre experience… Wasn’t able to actually stay at this property as I never received check-in instructions from the host. Unfortunately the host read and ignored my messages and emails as well as communications from the property manager (they weren’t much help either), for reasons unknown. Luckily hotels.com stepped in and gave me a full refund + a voucher for compensation.”
