“We came up with 3 little kids for a trip to Story Land. The house was perfect for them, with the game room downstairs and many bed options. The hot tub was also a nice escape after kids went to bed. Alan responded almost immediately to all questions. Will stay again next time we go up. ”

“Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a warm, sunny living room with breath taking views of the mountains. The recliners and the propane fireplace offered a cozy space to read, visit, or just enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of fluffy white towels. The kitchen was well appointed right down to the martini shaker. The attention to every detail was so appreciated and made for a memorable stay. Thank you for sharing your special place.”

“As soon as we walked through the first floor we realized we needed to come back again and started planning. Our Girl Scout Troop made this our end of the year overnight adventure and we have to stay much longer next time! Kids and adults were mesmerized from the beginning and we had an absolute blast. “lovely remote cabin ; lots of trees, quiet. We enjoyed seeing the horses on our way in! Really appreciated being able to bring our dog. Very comfortable beds; well equipped kitchen, AC kept entire house cool. The layout of the cabin allows for some privacy and quiet , which is very nice. Some games and books in living room ; (the upstairs has a high ridge in the middle, and then a fairly low ceiling.) Worked fine for our young adult daughter, who is 5 ft. 7 inches. “We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W”
