“The house was well stocked and had all we needed. The location was great for going to several mountains. I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars bc the basement level needs some TLC. The beds were advertised as queens and were actually full size which made it a challenge for our group, luckily there was space to put a blow up mattress in the lower living space. The spiral stairs to the basement level were treacherous and narrow. Overall a good experience. ”

“The house is large and very clean. Mostly very well appointed, a few exceptions such as only 3 teaspoons and one bedroom with a small double bed for adults. There is a large TV, but it is locked with the owner’s account. There are no instructions anywhere, TVs, pellet stove, hot tub, gas fireplace etc. No call to check that you are in okay. No phone number in case of an issue. I emailed both VRBO and the owner with no response from either. Pool table kept children entertained - a lot to enjoy,……

“This place was exactly as stated and more. the views of the white mountains from the deck were epic. the kitchen was very well stocked. the house is clean. we have two kids under 3 and there were lots of toys and house was quite well child proofed considering. the basement room for hanging up gear was exactly what was needed after a busy day being outside. there is so much to do around the area in winter for kids it was a perfect getaway and will definitely be coming back.”

“Place was as advertised. Clean and well located an 8-10 min walk to the base of South Ridge. Nice hot tub and deck and plenty of towels and linens. A couple pieces of furniture could use an upgrade but overall a great stay. Would definitely return. Communication with host / owner was fantastic and easy.”

“The house was a wonderful space for our family to get together with 7 adults and 3 kids, there was room for a few more if we had wanted! We loved the living room for game time and the connected kitchen and dining area worked well to keep everyone together at meal time. The bedrooms were well laid out and the kitchen had everything we needed to prep. We did rent a pontoon boat from Norway Marina for 3 days during our stay to tour the lake. My only comment relative to the listing……

“Easily located off Roadrunner trail, this Brookside condo was perfect to relax in, cook dinner, shower and sleep in after a day of skiing. Nothing fancy, this standard 2 bedroom condo worked for our family of 4 (2 sets of bunk beds available in the kids room). Check-in and out was handled directly and easily with the management company.”

“The house was AMAZING! Had a wonderful time We had a pretty big group and the house was comfortable enough for all of us including kids and a dog. Did not feel crowded at all. Hosts were wonderful, very accommodating with late check out and asking if we need anything. The views from the house are spectacular, you dont need to go out at all honestly, you would have a good time just enjoying the house amenities and the views, def worth the drive from NY”
