“I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! ”

“Perfect for our needs- only 3 minutes from wedding venue down the street. The property was very clean, beautifully decorated, had plenty of parking, all sorts of games and the pool table kept everyone entertained. Also had the biggest tv in the living room I have ever seen!! We hope to stay there again in the future. The host was great, and the Amherst area is beautiful! ”

We especially loved the screened-in porch, from which you could observe the natural beauty surrounding us, including the rolling hills beyond.
