“This property was a home run for us! We're a group of nine 60 aged college roommates who get together for a week each year. This was our fourth such reunion, and we all agree that this was the best place so far. I can't say enough about the setting, ideally located at the confluence of the York River and York Harbor, with stunning views from many rooms. We had our grandchildren along and the home is perfect for kids and adults. So clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make our vacation perfect. We will be back 100%!”

“The Red Star Cottage did not disappoint. Great spot for a small group of friends looking to get away from the city noise. The lake was great for our dog to swim and play and the paddle boat and row boat were out too. Pre season, so it was too chilly for us humans to swim. But lake was clean and sandy bottom! We had a bonfire with s’mores, grilled on the deck, and sat out under the stars. The cottage came with everything you would need. Only feedback would be more Tupperware to use for……

“We stayed one night, our stay was fine. The inn is overpriced for the area and for the extremely dated rooms. Breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn type breakfast. The person that checked us in was not friendly but the person that checked us in was very nice and offered us bottle water for the road, which I appreciated.”
