“We visited the area for a wedding of a friend. The booking, the checking in and the entire stay was enjoyable! The views of the lake from house is so nice! The house is clean but as stated in other reviews it is a bit of a rustic cottage and could use a few updates but that did not take away the comfortability of feeling right at home!Absolutely beautiful sunrise! I wish we could have been there for a summer stay because the lake looks like it would make for so much fun and it's just steps away……

“The house was gorgeous and fit all of us very comfortably. We all enjoyed the spacious dock that allowed easy access for my two year old granddaughter with spina bifida! “We needed to make a last minute trip to MI from SC to visit family. We were so lucky that this little gem was available. It is small and cozy but had everything we needed. The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat.”

“We stayed here as a home base for our mom trip away. It was quiet and relaxing. We spent our two days traveling between saugatuck, south haven, and plainwell and then came back to the lake house to relax. The hot tub was in a perfect location that felt private, but we could still enjoy watching wild life. The kitchen was fully stocked with both cooking essentials and some spices. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would stay here again without hesitation. ”

“Great place to stay! We took a crew of guys here for a job nearby. It was a perfect fit - beds for everyone, multiple bathrooms and different areas to hang out. The guys enjoyed kayaking after work and playing pool at night. The kitchen has just about everything you need for cooking full meals. The hosts are kind and quick to respond. This is our second time at this rental and we’d still come back!”

“The Lake House was the perfect place to welcome the year’s first snowfall. The property is well maintained and the house was lovely. Wally welcomed us on our first day and we immediately felt comfortable as he gave us some great pointers and recommendations.
