“Overall was extremely dirty with rust, mold on the bathroom ceilings, chipping paint, tiles falling off the shower walls, carpets that felt oily. Hallways smell damp. The staff was very kind, though. Beds were okay. Smelled clean. Unfortunately the pictures did not match the state of the rooms. I do not think there is much that could be fixed here without major repairs. ”

“Property had bugs and was not super clean. No warm water in my room, lightbulbs missing. Staff was very nice but overall I would not stay here again”

“We booked online. No indication in the advertising that the building had totally deteriorated. Some effort was being done for remodel, but, the outside of the building, looked like it was abandoned. I'm talking, large strips of siding peeling off the exterior. Grass growing in the cracks of the sidewalks. The restaurant had red signs posted on the door that it was uninhabitable. The pool/sauna was in a similar state. We had no hot water in the morning. One washcloth for 2 people. The mattress……

“Had everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was firm but comfortable. ”

“The house is clean, equipped, and exactly what I expected. The price is very good and saved us a lot of money over hotels for this many people. The location is not as nice as we were hoping for, it is near a train yard, and car wash. That said, we felt safe, and only heard trains occasionally. It did not disturb our sleep. It did not feel skanky at all, just a little different location than I was expecting. There were four queen sized beds, we didn’t look for where they are counting the other……

“Brad as host was especially responsive, buying and delivering a bottle opener when we asked about one. Highly recommend the property, and the owner/manager.”

“I gave check-in process only 3 stars, NO fault of the host. It is a VRBO app and technical issues. The host immediately corrected it and helped me with check-in. Host made up for the tech issues on behalf of VRBO, very friendly and responsive.”
