“Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and……

“Very nice, charming place. Quiet location even though it was close to major highway. A bit distant from touristy spots, but the charm made up for it. Large bathroom (former principal's office). Small, but serviceable and cute kitchen. Plenty of linens, towels, dishes, etc. Easy check-in and check-out. Staying in a renovated schoolhouse was just a cool thing to do. Glad we stayed here.”

“This place isn’t just “beautiful luxury cabin in the woods” because even though there are houses nearby, you truly feel like you’re alone as you sit out on the deck, soaking in the peace and quiet. The house itself is beautiful inside, with plenty of space to gather and enjoy. We loved relaxing on the porch, spending time in the main living room, and coming together in the kitchen around the island as we cooked our meals. Every room felt private and quiet, which made for such a relaxing……

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”
