“Arrived in the dark on a bitterly cold misty February night. Despite the fact that Steve had only just got out of hospital after a hip operation and clearly in pain, he did everything possible to make me welcome and comfortable. Rooms recently completely refurbished, well-pointed and warm. Great land scaping projects in the garden ready for the summer to make wonderful sitting out areas. The quintessentially simple cosy affordable Dorset Inn, log fire. stone floor simple decor, gumboots and pub……

“Second or third stay at the Keep, previously in the tower suite, now a flying stop so a "basic" downstairs room. Despite being street facing at ground level it's absolutely quiet. I live on a busy main road & this room was so much quieter than home. Palatial room with perfectly comfortable bed, large shower, microwave, fridge, etc. No staff on site most of the time which always makes me a little nervous, but I've never needed them, & the price reflects it. If I want 24hr staffing I'm welcome……
