“I lived on the west shore for 15 years before 2000. I knew the magic of the lake in Spring, before the schools were out and the motorboats roared past. The road was narrow and crowded, and summer folk found their camps again. Friends found peace and quiet away from the city of Syracuse. “The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.”

“We came to the Cooperstown area looking for a few days away and some time to visit the Hall of Fame and do some antiquing. The home was lovely and exactly as promised online. We didn't need to have a lot of contact with Stephen, but the few times we did he was very responsive and very helpful. The house itself is a historic home, so as another reviewer mentioned, the floors are a bit creaky in spots. But that's the charm of a historic home.
