“This is a beautiful old house, in a very pretty area. If you enjoy Japanese architecture this is a great place to stay. Our host went out of his way to make sure we felt accommodated and offered to take us to the beach and and drop us to the train station. ”

You could walk to the beach and fishing port. We met locals who were really nice to lend us fishing poles for our stay. You could feel the real Japanese daily life and hospitality during the stay. Highly recommended for travelers who love experiencing the Japanese culture.”

“This was a perfect spot for our visit to Naoshima. Very convenient location, charming and gracious hosts. The house is spacious with nice character. Hosts are very attentive. They provided transportation to the ferry port as well as e-bikes for our use. The bikes are highly recommended for museum/art house hopping. Very comfy beds and a kitchen stocked with enough food for a meal. A nice touch was the fresh flowers found throughout the rooms. Overall a very pleasant and friendly spot.”
