“Not a great start. We arrived, had not received a text re cabin access and nobody answered the phone. When checking with Eungella Chalet we discovered that whoever input the dates into their systems had made a mistake. We had no accommodation for first night - dates a day ahead. Fortunately the lady at the chalet managed to find a one night stay at Broken River 5km away and the wonderful host there, Wen, welcomed us plus said she would work out payment with the cabins. “Nice beachfront area and golf course. Staff is friendly and helpful Rental cottage 50 needs exterior paint but the interior is well maintained. Old cooker/oven works. No washing machine. No microwave. A good place for the price.”

“What a great few days away, perfect weather, views, house and family! Lisa was EXCELLENT to communicate with, house as always was great, huge area ideal for lots of people. “This property is old and very dated. There was no communication leading up to our reservation.i had to call multiple times to find out which unit to stay in and then to figure out where the unit was. The unit itself is not welcoming. It is dreary and old. There is no place to relax. No toiletries are provided. The walking times on the listing are not accurate. It is a 15 minute drive to Cape Hillsborough Beach. The only positive was it did have hot water and the bed was clean. I would not stay……

“Equivalent to Fawlty Towers but without the service or amentities. Depsite many request broken lighshades, blown light globes, broken drawer, broken cupbaord, 2 teaspoons inadequate supplies, broken shutters, no wifi and I could go own. Problems repeatedly reported with photos and no action in 14 days.”
