“Beautiful property , just the right size for a couple , cozy with a private beach area. If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. ”

“Nice location; close enough to town yet far enough away to be quiet. Felt very comfortable and very at-home at Benson Cottage - a great place to unwind and enjoy what Nature and the Moosehead Lake region have to offer. Our host, Tara, was friendly, easy to communicate with and kept the cottage well-stocked and clean. We wanted for nothing. I sure hope we can come back before too long!”

“Location was perfect and the lake wonderful. We had a lovely stay.”

“We returned here this year after a magical stay last summer. We were not disappointed. The location of the house on Lake Hebron makes for a fun time. Kayaking, fishing, birdwatching or just sitting and relaxing occupied our time at the house. The loons calling created a soundtrack for our stay. We were even treated to the unexpected appearance of the Northern lights Nearby, trips to waterfalls, hikes to Mount Kineo filled the week. If you are here, do not miss the B52 crash memorial. The road……

“Me and a small group of friends rented the camp to do some ice fishing. You couldn't get any closer to the water. If we didn't want to leave camp to fish, we wouldn't of had to. The camp was exactly as advertised in the pictures and descriptions. There were 5 of us and each had our own comfy bed. The communication and check-in process were both great. All camp accommodations were great. Less than a 10 minute drive to town which has most anything you'd need. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this place……
