“I recently stayed at a Seneca Lake cottage that truly deserves its five-star rating! The modern decor and fantastic lake views made it the perfect getaway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful touches, from local treats, to pet cookies, to helpful recommendations. The location was serene yet conveniently close to wine trails and everything Seneca Lake has to offer. Every detail was attended to, making my stay both relaxing and memorable. I can't recommend this cottage……

“Property was decent, dated furnishings. Beds were extremely hard. Appreciated the coffee that was left. But no creamer or sugar. No dish towels or washcloth in the kitchen. Ironing board in the basement. No outside firepit, other properties that were close had them. I'd recommend, but it was barebones. Needs some more personal touches, paid a decent amount. Would go to a hotel instead for an overnight stay. ”

“We rented this property with some friends. There is a semi-private creek, and you can walk to a waterfall and swimming hole. It was just beautiful. I say semi-private because there were very few people there each time we walked it. The gardens were also lovely. We rented both the main house and the guest house. Both were very nice. “We had a great stay! House was just as advertised and exactly what we were looking for! Only negative is that there was a problem with the half bathroom upon arrival. I did email the management company to let them know and never got a response. It was not urgent as there was another bathroom and therefore did not really impact our stay.
