“We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station.……

They drove out to find us and guide us in when got lost. The yard was filled with herbs and the pool was so refreshing. The drive to downtown Castellemarre del Golfo was brief and easily managed. The outside is magnificent with a huge pool overlooking the gorgeous water and all of Cefalu. The owner Giovanni was always on call if you needed anything and was very accommodating. “Very spacious and tidy. Locating took a minute, but once we arrived properly was very convenient to town. Water pump was a bit rowdy at times. Our family did enjoy our stay.”

“We hebben heerlijk 11 dagen verbleven bij Ciro. Een fijne gastheer met fijne vakantiehuizen. Voornamelijk de tuin was echt fantastisch. Omdat deze afgesloten was, konden we met een gerust hart ons dochtertje rond laten lopen. Daarnaast is er een buitendouche waar we met veel plezier gebruik van maakten. Ook het huisje zelf was kindvriendelijk wat ons betreft. De bedden waren prima, al hoewel ze wel een upgrade zouden kunnen gebruiken. De koekenpannen in de keuken waren ook niet in beste staat……

“Big property but needs total update. Advertised as air conditioned but only had air con in 4 bedrooms. None in the 5th or any downstairs areas. Family of 9 and couldnt use the 5th bedroom due to heat of 33° plus. Villa clean but worn out. Not advertised as having a well for water supply so couldnt drink it. Had to use bottled water for most things. Only positive of that was no water restrictions during the drought.Had power cuts daily. Couldnt use air con with oven on or washing machine. Had a……

“Unglaublicher Ausblick auf das Meer. Ein sehr gemütliches Ferienhaus mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und hat eine sehr gute Lage für viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Trapani, Erice, Marsala, Mazara de Vallo, Selinunte und Segesta sind gut zu erreichen. Leider fuhr keine Fähre nach Mozia aber man muss ja noch einen offenen Fleck lassen. “Myself and a group of friends stayed here in September. Claudia was accommodating of our check-in time and was at the villa when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the house and offered to show us the neighbourhood (which is a gated residential community), and also offered to drive us to the local supermarket for our first shop. “The hotel is close to the bus and train stations, and the area is relatively dirty, but the hotel and rooms were perfectly cleaned. Electrical appliances function there barely.
