“Late Oct 2024 Karen was so nice and gave us very accurate information on hiking areas nearby. It was also easy to check in. The cabin was cute and clean. We spent a lot of time by the fireplace while enjoying the view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stacked. Was even provided fresh water, coal for the grill, and firewood for the pit. We would definitely stay again. ”

“Property is very cozy and well furnished. The lake was very beautiful in late October and having a canoe to paddle was great for a lake this size. I’d definitely go back again anytime of year. ”

“The property was beautiful and well kept. I personally would have preferred to have curtains/blinds on the windows and the TV is a little awkward in the living area but overall, my stay was excellent.”

“This "cabin" is spectacular! It is clean, organized, spacious and fun! The kitchen is gorgeous with top of the line appliances. The livingroom has a huge TV with unlimited options of movies, shows, music and more! The game room is amazing! The pool table and darts entertained us for hours. The bedrooms are beautiful and have very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are stocked with towels and even a few ramndom things incase you forgot something. Check-in and check-out went smooth. “We love this area in Northern MN. It's quiet, secluded, lots of lakes and endless trails. It's a perfect escape from the busy city life. The cabin is just as advertised, very clean and great communication with host.”

“It was wonderful to get away to the beautiful surroundings of Minnesota. Quiet, serene, tranquil. Mid-July was definitely a time for biting insects, but apply Off and enjoy the lake. We had everything we needed and more. It was nice to stay at a listing that took the extra step to provide things like trash bags, tp paper, and paper towels. Can't say enough positive things about the owner and communication. 10/10 for sure! Would definitely stay again if vacationing in that part of the US. ”

“The Castle House is an eclectic place to stay. The game room looks like a former biker bar, not that that’s a problem. An old Harley is even hanging on the wall. Beautiful back yard with bright green ivy and tall redwood trees. Even an old tractor covered in ivy. Kitchen completely decked out. No need to bring a thing. We wish the weather could have been better to enjoy the beautiful patio redwood decks. ”
