“What a lovely place for a family getaway! Located near the beautiful area surrounding lake vermilion. this lakeside cabin was the ideal spot for us to spend a long weekend with our two girls. We spent 3 days of hiking, visiting the international Wolf center, and just enjoying the small towns in the area. We had s'mores by the fire pit and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the deck of this lovely cabin. Our host responded immediately to any questions we had, and gave us tips on the area. I……

“Great location for us. Trails were close by and easy to get to. Gas station was also very close and convenient. Hot tub was great to soak in after the days ride. Cabin layout worked very well for our group.”

“Late Oct 2024 Karen was so nice and gave us very accurate information on hiking areas nearby. It was also easy to check in. The cabin was cute and clean. We spent a lot of time by the fireplace while enjoying the view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stacked. Was even provided fresh water, coal for the grill, and firewood for the pit. We would definitely stay again. ”

“Went to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We have been to Elbow Lake several times and knew what to expect. The cabin is "no frills" but that is part of the experience. It is right on the lakeshore with a deck literally a few feet from the water. The lake is quiet with very few boats making it easy to hear the frequent loon calls. It's a good kayak / canoe lake with a beautiful sand beach in front of the lodge for swimming. The on-site manger and his family are there for whatever you need.……

“Outstanding experience with owners and the property. We had originally reserved a smaller cabin but they had begun closing it up for the winter and generously gave us a larger space for same price. Cabin was very clean and came with everything needed for our four night fishing trip. We were very pleased with our stay and will be reserving next year too. “Very deceiving.... 100% would not recommend, I've stayed at better motel 6's then this. Hot tub did not work (and we were not notified), overall property was not maintained, trees around deck need to be trimmed, deck was dangerous, doors didn't lock, and windows were extremely inconvenient as you had to take the screens off in order to open the windows, which are needed in the summer when it's hot and there is no AC.”

“There were 3 of us, and we had a great time, great weather, and enjoyed the time on Lake Vermilion. The cabin was very clean. Only suggestions are to let guests know that they have access to the dock; and the Wifi info in the messages/emails was incorrect, but we figured it out. I would recommend this cabin/location on Lake Vermilion to others.”
