“What a lovely place for a family getaway! Located near the beautiful area surrounding lake vermilion. this lakeside cabin was the ideal spot for us to spend a long weekend with our two girls. We spent 3 days of hiking, visiting the international Wolf center, and just enjoying the small towns in the area. We had s'mores by the fire pit and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the deck of this lovely cabin. Our host responded immediately to any questions we had, and gave us tips on the area. I……

“Late Oct 2024 Karen was so nice and gave us very accurate information on hiking areas nearby. It was also easy to check in. The cabin was cute and clean. We spent a lot of time by the fireplace while enjoying the view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stacked. Was even provided fresh water, coal for the grill, and firewood for the pit. We would definitely stay again. ”

“Very deceiving.... 100% would not recommend, I've stayed at better motel 6's then this. Hot tub did not work (and we were not notified), overall property was not maintained, trees around deck need to be trimmed, deck was dangerous, doors didn't lock, and windows were extremely inconvenient as you had to take the screens off in order to open the windows, which are needed in the summer when it's hot and there is no AC.”

Only suggestions are to let guests know that they have access to the dock; and the Wifi info in the messages/emails was incorrect, but we figured it out. “My middle son wanted his "senior" trip to be with his whole family (dog too) and focused on fishing. This was the perfect rental for exactly that. Shaun was great with all of our questions. The cabin was perfect-- we have 3 boys (20, 17, 14) myself, my husband, and dog, and we didn't feel crowded. The boys enjoyed all the family pictures and history of the island. “This "cabin" is spectacular! It is clean, organized, spacious and fun! The kitchen is gorgeous with top of the line appliances. The livingroom has a huge TV with unlimited options of movies, shows, music and more! The game room is amazing! The pool table and darts entertained us for hours. The bedrooms are beautiful and have very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are stocked with towels and even a few ramndom things incase you forgot something. Check-in and check-out went smooth. “We rented this home the past weekend for an early Easter celebration. We had 7 adults and a 1 1/2 year old child that stayed at the house. My parents, who live 3 miles away, came to visit. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed all the amenities. The host was very responsive. Very close to Giants Ridge. It was nice that they had a secure baby gate in the house but note, if you have young children the outside area was a little hard. That being said, it is early spring. Would definitely rent this……
