“Nice lake and quiet cabin made for a relaxing time”

“Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. We especially love rowing and stand up paddle boarding, and my girls have really gotten into fishing the past couple of years (this time my older daughter added a nice bass to our sheetpan seafood "boil"). “Beautiful cabin, with everything you need and more. Great private swimming beach, great fishing. Will come and stay again. Adults, grandchildren, and dogs all had a great experience. All you need to bring is your clothes, and food. ”

“Great spot! Plenty of room to cook, great fishing, quiet, and relaxing. We launched our small 12 foot boat which was awesome. A word of advice, if your boat is bigger than that, you might want to launch at the resort across the lake so there’s adequate space to back in. The lake is a short walk down the hill through a pretty path. I caught my first very large bass (a mounter!) and our dog who is fighting terminal cancer can happy and comfortable. He really liked the fan that was in the office.……

“The cabin was a beautiful place to stay during our yearly fishing trip. The views were spectacular from both the cabin and dock. The surrounding area was quiet, aside from the sounds of nature. Regular sighting of the red fox population was a treat! All in all, a great vacation spot.”

“What a great location! Located on the east end of the lake with a beautiful sunset view and the winds blowing in our screened in windows we got plenty of fresh air and lake views. The hospitality was top notch and the cabin was everything it needed to be. Simple accommodations but comfortable and clean. Jay and Lulu were the best hosts and daily made sure we had everything we needed!”

“The location is beyond words. Truly beautiful and relaxing. We loved bird watching including a daily visit by a chatty eagle. Absolutely amazing. We explored Crane lake and caught enough walleyes and bass for a fish dinner at the cabin. The eagle enjoyed the fish remains right off the end of the dock. I highly recommend Loon Landing.”

“Great location for us. Trails were close by and easy to get to. Gas station was also very close and convenient. Hot tub was great to soak in after the days ride. Cabin layout worked very well for our group.”

“We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. Showering is simple using the collected rain water in the barrels outside and a battery powered shower head.Having the boat is awesome, and works very……
