“My wife and I make a trip up to Maine every fall and I can state this property was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. First the view: The cottage has an amazing view of the lake, sitting at the kitchen table there is a huge window and it feels like you are right on the water. The road that goes down to the cottage goes over a hill that has an absolutely stunning view of the entire lake and the mountains in the distance. The privacy at the cottage was great. “The camp was quaint, great kitchen! Unfortunately there was confusion & communication issues with our host not being notified that we had booked property. We received a refund from the host for the nights we didn't stay due to propane running out. The host had intended to have camp closed up the week we had booked.”

“This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys. Loved the rinnai for those cold mornings. Washer/dryer on premises. Only suggestion - microwave was old and hard to figure out and should probably be……

“Because my boyfriend's family had a summer "getaway" a few cottages down, when we rent this cottage it feels like going home again. We remember all areas of the lake and enjoy the solitude and peaceful feeling that surrounds us. Anyone that is looking to disconnect from the hectic pace of life, this is the place to go!”

“The Thainey house was the perfect spot for our family. The property was wonderful and allowed for space for our 2 children and dog to run around. The house was immaculate and had all of the amenities we needed. ”

“Upon arrival was ecstatic with the way the property looked from the outside! It only got better as we entered the home. Clean, up to date, roomy and comfortable! We took a walk over to the pond and the only statement made was "WOW!". We had a great time using the all of the water toys and even took a dip in the pond. Spent plenty of time just relaxing there and enjoying the serenity. This home is incredible! I look forward to telling others about it! Our host was also exceptionally graceful as……
