“My wife and I make a trip up to Maine every fall and I can state this property was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. First the view: The cottage has an amazing view of the lake, sitting at the kitchen table there is a huge window and it feels like you are right on the water. The road that goes down to the cottage goes over a hill that has an absolutely stunning view of the entire lake and the mountains in the distance. The privacy at the cottage was great. The road the cottage was off……

So easy to get to town for great food and shopping. David was the perfect host, he went above and beyond, was so welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back. ”

“This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!”

“We had a great stay at Depatsy’s camp with our 10mo old son and pup. The house was cozy, spacious and had everything we needed. The house was in a perfect location with access to the water and kayaks/paddle boards. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the view and using the fire pit. Would definitely return for another trip! ”

“If you are considering this cabin, do not hesitate to book it. It is absolutely beautiful, perfect spot on the lake and still close to many local venues. We enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend and cannot wait to go back. Denise was the most gracious host and made us feel at home. We were able to fish off the dock which is just steps from the front porch. Beautiful sunsets and listening for the loons was a favorite. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! ”

“This property was wonderful. It had everything renters could ever need including an instant pot pressure cooker and excellent coffee machine that was stocked and ready to make good coffee. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional. The beds were very comfortable. We were in the area for cross country ski races and had a great stay. ”
