“Everything about our stay at Brittany’s cabin, from booking through checkout was great! She is a great host and communicator. This cabin was just adorable and perfect for us and our two young grandchildren. The location is very convenient to Marrienville for access to stores and some nice restaurants (Bettina’s italian was great!). It ia about a 15 drive to the state park, so really close. We enjoyed a winter hike to the swinging bridge at Tom’s run. Can’t forget to mention, the cabin was……

“Nice spot for a small extended family get away. Cozy and kitchen was well stocked. Only removed a star due to one mattress being a bit uncomfortable and some poor water pressure upstairs. We enjoyed the hot tub and foosball table. Overall great place. ”

“We stayed for 2 nights for my daughter's wedding. The home was very comfortable and more space than we needed. The girls in the bridal party were able to get ready in the luxury of the master bed/bathroom. Would definitely stay again! Also would be happy to check in to owners other locations! They look fabulous.”

“We are a large group of friends who have been enjoying the Cook Forest region for more than 35 years of Winter Weekends. Double Bore is large enough to accomodate our group and is located on a beautiful, peaceful and private property. Management is friendly and so easy to work with and it's easy to access from various points (directions). “We had a group of 8 which consisted of my wife and I and 6 lifelong friends. The cabin was very well maintained and worked nicely for us. We get together every year for a few trips but this is the one we all like the best. It's just so relaxing and a peaceful getaway. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a very quiet and peaceful setting.”
