“This was the perfect break. Completely calm, peaceful, accommodating space. We enjoyed the moss-covered walking paths, and quiet time on the front and back decks. We would gladly return!”

“I was there with my wife and one of our daughters to attend a memorial for a deceased family member. My wife of 56 years has Alzheimer's so travel can be challenging, but our stay was very enjoyable even with the challenges. The property is excellent but I think it was the communication with our host that was the most exceptional. The worst part of the trip was leaving! Sitting around the campfire has always been a source of enjoyment and our time there was no exception. While we live 600 miles……

“This was our second stay & I can't say enough good things about the house & location. The furnishings & decorations are tasteful, the kitchen is well-stocked, & there are a choice of places to gather or be apart. It's a gem!”

“The location is amazing, as is the host. The downside is how outdated and under maintained the house is. The site says infers it is recently updated but that’s just a new floor (poor quality) and new countertops. The screen doors on the sliding door are broke, huge cobwebs in the top of the ceiling, the basement screen door is held closed with a rock, the laundry is creepy, etc. The trees are overgrown, and no drapes for privacy in the second property. Worst of all is if you flush the primary……
