“We had an absolutely beautiful weekend at the charming Sea Glass Cottage. We were in the area for the VA Eastern Shore historic garden tour. The cottage is so lovely. The pictures do not really do it justice. We loved the balance of antiques and comfort. The beds are so comfortable. Doris provided everything that we needed. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“We have stayed at a ton of rentals and this was truly the best. The hosts have thought of everything; from kayaks, to comfortable places to hang out, this house has it all. It was the perfect Spring Break getaway, we took advantage of the great restaurants nearby and had a really wonderful family vacation.”

“Property was clean, and the kitchen had everything you could need. Loved the hardwood floors, and it was excellent for children and pets. There were games, and a dog bed and treats as well. The place may appear small, but is actually very well laid out, and the yard is an excellent place to enjoy the children with games and activities. Would highly recommend using this place for the price. Much better then any hotel in the area. ”

“We had such a wonderful and relaxing week here! We loved the private waterfront deck - from our morning coffee to evening sunsets (which were stunning!) we spent most of our time there. “Very nice property, we made good use of the dock and were able to launch my 18.5 ft boat from the concrete ramp. Fishing, crabbing, boating were good (though crabs a bit on small side) the cottage was clean, well organized and neat. Everything was really nice and Genevieve was extremely responsive and pleasant to deal with.”

“We really enjoyed our time in this house. It was such a treat to stay in a neighborhood with trails, a dock to fish from, and a safe yard for the kids to play in. The kitchen is well stocked here. The bathrooms are really nice and the couch is super comfortable. We are hoping to come back this summer. ”

“The house was well maintained for such an old house. Very small bathroom. I would not recommend more than 2 to 4 people stay here. The back yard was a lot smaller than we hoped. I felt overall it was a good place to stay. Maybe a little over priced in my opinion. ”

“We loved our short stay here. The cottage was very nice and located in a great spot. You could see the water from the screened in front porch. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean!The owners were awesome at communicating and everything was a breeze.We love Cape Charles and will definitely stay here when we come back!”
