“Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. We hope to return next year for a longer……

“My dad worked on Loring until it closed in 1994, and dad wanted to come home and visit. My 2 boys came up for the 1st couple of days and were able to fish alittle bit. ”

The rooms were large and the beds incredibly comfy. The kitchen had most everything we needed - it would have been nice to have some mixing bowls and such, but we were fine for our stay.”

“Had an awesome time at this cabin! It was a bit cozy for four guys, but honestly, it worked out just fine. Super clean, comfy, and made a great basecamp as we explored fishing holes in the area. The location was spot on—close to trails and nature, but also near town.Becky, our host, was great. Super quick to respond and gave us helpful tips on what to do around the area. Would definitely recommend this place for a small group or family looking to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.”

“This castle stay was amazing for the whole family. Gave everyone a unique experience to stay somewhere big enough to house the whole extended family and enjoy each others company in one space. The kids loved the open spaces and pretending they were the princesses of the castle. Would definitely recommend to any groups that want to be close to family and have a beautiful place to do so!”
